Antarctic Circle Cruise
Crossing the Antarctic Circle starts with a cruise through the Drake Passage and along the Antarctic Peninsula. Our vessels are fully equipped ice-strengthened ships that handle the sea with ease. With favorable sea conditions we will get to 66 degrees 33.7′ South. Venturing to the Antarctic Circle is an adventure very few travelers have experienced! Enjoy the wildlife of the Peninsula, and scenic icebergs along the way. The further south we go, the more sea ice we are likely to encounter. Be sure to watch for sea life and stunning scenery on your cruise! The ideal window for sailing in the region is February while the temperatures average around 34 degrees Fahrenheit. We recommend that guests plan for chilly and blustery weather, though it is often sunny here during this time of year.
